Timo Baader Specialist in Crisis, Business and IT Service Continuity

Timo is an experienced Resilience Specialist with a focus on Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management and IT Service Continuity Management. He has been working in the public and private sector for over ten years in engaging projects and research in Europe, North America and South East Asia.

During his active duty in the Armed Forces he served in the National Command Center, preparing for and managing complex emergencies and disasters. As a trained Civil-Military Coordination Officer he can manage stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.

He continued on to consult and work with high profile clients in the public and private sector, working on Crisis Management Project at a national level as well as BCM and ITSCM projects across the entire lifecycle. Timo obtained significant experience in planning and running exercises at different levels. He also focused on IT Resilience, working with IT Providers and Data Centers to strengthen their resilience against major impact events.

In his last position Timo was in charge of the IT Resilience Management for one of the worlds largest retailers, covering all aspects of Crisis Management, BCM and ITSCM.

Timo holds a M.A. in International Relations and Law from the University of the German Armed Forces as well as a M.Sc in Risk, Disaster and Resilience from University College London. He is certified in Project Management, Risk Management and Information Security and is ranked Captain and part of the active Armed Forces Reserve.
