Phil Healy Policing & Security Specialist

Phil started his policing career in 1985 with the Ministry of Defence Police (MDP). Here he served in a variety of Uniform and CID positions across the United Kingdom. Prior to leaving the MOD, he was the Detective Chief Inspector for Force CID Operations based in Essex.

In January 2003, Phil transferred to West Midlands Police where he held a number of operational and strategic positions whilst proudly serving the communities of the West Midlands in roles including; Force Intelligence, Staff Officer, ACPO Criminal Use of Firearms, Crime Manager, Head of Force Training (responsible for all operational training), and most recently the Superintendent for Local Policing in the city of Coventry.

Over the course of a full career, Phil has acquired a substantial amount of experience in policing. Underpinning operational and strategic activity, he successfully acquired a BA (Hons) and MA in Management and Leadership.

Phil now operates as an independent consultant working through the Network.
