Petek brings a unique set of skills to the Network and is well positioned in Turkey for our work there.
She brings over 22 years experience in the area of social policy planning (education, environment, civil society development, disaster management); 7 years in the university, 7 years in the public sector an the last 8 years in the private sector, as a free-lance consultant
16 years of work experience with the EU dspecialising in programming, designing/preparation of tender documents, tendering, contracting, implementation, evaluation (tender and project evaluation) and monitoring and evaluation of capacity building projects in the public and private sectors as well as civil society programmes.
She had undertaken contract management responsibilities in both the Central Finance and Contracts Unit (CFCU) and in the EU Delegation to Turkey (EUD) for 5 years and has overseen all phases (programming, tendering, contracting, implementation, monitoring and evaluation as well as financing) of implementation of substantial EU projects.
