Capt. (Ret.) Marcin Janik is a medical evacuation and CBRNE response specialist with over a decade of operational, instructional, and strategic-level experience in emergency services. With a career rooted in frontline paramedicine and command roles in the Polish State Fire Service, he brings a rare fusion of medical, technical, and leadership competencies that bridge tactical response and international coordination.
Marcin has led MEDEVAC operations and medical coordination for high-impact international deployments, including EU civil protection missions, WHO Emergency Medical Teams Coordination Cell (EMTCC) support, and disaster simulation exercises such as EU MODEX. His portfolio includes complex logistical planning, multi-agency liaison, and the development of protocols for CBRNE patient evacuation-often in environments where no standards existed before.
He is currently the operational lead and WHO classification coordinator for the Humanosh Emergency Medical Team, a rapidly deployable civilian EMT with CBRNE capabilities. Marcin also lectures in emergency medicine and hazardous materials rescue at the Medical University of Warsaw, sharing his practical field experience with the next generation of medical responders.
From building a high-altitude medical base in the Georgian Caucasus to drafting aviation rescue policies, he thrives in scenarios that demand both innovation and precision. Whether facilitating border-crossing MEDEVAC during armed conflict or training airline crew in emergency response, Marcin is committed to solutions that are operationally sound, culturally aware, and deeply humanitarian.
