Dr. Lukasz Szklarski is a recognized expert in CBRN security, border technologies, and resilience solutions. He holds a Ph.D. in Security Studies and a Master's degree in Computer Science. For nearly two decades, he has coordinated and managed high-profile EU-funded research projects, notably EU-SENSE (H2020, chemical threat detection), EU-RADION (H2020, radiological hazard detection), and CHIMERA (Horizon Europe, comprehensive CBRN detection system). His innovative work integrates advanced analytics, expertise in CBRN detection technologies, and practical security applications.
Dr. Szklarski is an appointed member of the CERIS Expert Group (DRS, CBRN) at the European Commission. He also actively collaborates with prestigious international institutions, including the European Commission, European Defence Agency (EDA), and Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA). His expertise extends to advanced biometric systems for secure border crossings and innovative technologies for green border protection.
As an expeert in CBRN Technology Development, Dr. Szklarski oversees cutting-edge research, operational field testing, and the implementation of solutions enhancing national and international resilience to CBRN threats.
