"Graduated in political science with an international address, he received his PhD in Historical Geography from the University of Genoa. The object of the PhD was that of developing civil protection planning systems with participatory approaches, an activity that he then followed for more than a decade as an expert within the Italian Civil Protection system.
Davide over the years has specialized in the study and analysis of legal and institutional systems of Civil Protection and Early Warning Systems, management and drafting of European and international projects and development of training curricula in the area of disaster risk management. This experience has grown in the context of projects funded by the European Union, the Italian Government and the United Nations in more than 40 states between the EU, the Caribbean, the Balkans and countries belonging to the CIS.
