Recognised as one of the world’s most experienced and creditable emergency management/public safety leaders with more than 35 years experience as a change maker, in understanding communities and introducing innovative solutions to complex problems.
As Victoria’s first and only Fire Services Commissioner and the inaugural Emergency Management Commissioner, Craig led the emergency management sector together with business, industry and community in reform work that made Victoria a world leader in emergency and consequence management across systems, processes and people.
This experience has given Craig a unique ability to understand complex situations from multiple perspectives. Continuing this work, Craig works across the world and Australia championing collaboration, community-centred outcomes and strategic leadership with a focus on key global future drivers including climate change and resilience building.
