Bryan Nelson Disaster and Emergency Management Specialist

Bryan is an Emergency Management professional with over 30 years' experience built up from the management of public and private sector projects for organisations throughout the UK and overseas. Bryan is an accredited practitioner in both PRINCE2 and Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) and holds the CBCI certification for business continuity.

Bryan is an accomplished exercise director, trainer, debriefer and facilitator who has developed and delivered over 100 training courses, exercises and workshops. He is an experienced and respected project manager applying his skills on a variety of emergency management and business continuity projects.

Since 2020 Bryan has gained overseas experience delivering disaster management projects in NZ, Thailand, Caribbean and most recently for UNDP in Bangladesh.

Bryan's work and life ethos are centred around wellbeing, respect, honesty, trust, open communication and teamwork. He prides himself on developing people and helping organisations be in the best possible position to respond to incidents, disasters and emergencies.
