Terry Webb Terry Webb Disaster & Assessment Coordinator

Terry is a superb trainer and works through the Network on a range of top-level programmes

Known as a dedicated, highly motivated Advisor with a positive attitude gaining considerable Command and Coordination experience in rapid onset disaster operations in local, national and international environments including; flooding, earthquakes, typhoons and other serve weather events.

Terry has undertaken a number of international missions working both for NGOs, UKISAR, the European Union Mechanism and the United Nations UNDAC. Experience has included:

  • on assessments for the Haiti earthquake 2010
  • as deputy sub OSOCC leader Guiuan for Typhoon Hayian (Philippines) 2013,
  • head of EU team for Serbia floods 2014 and
  • head of EU team for the Nepal earthquake 2015.

As a senior UK Fire Officer, Terry's had operational and management responsibility for a large fire department, and as a career Fire Officer has undertaken various operational command and staff roles, including secondments with the UK Government and UK Fire Service College also holding a senior operational post with the RNLI (NGO) for UK maritime search and rescue.

Prior to his career in Civil Protection Terry also undertook military operations with UK British Army which gives him an unusual appreciation of the wider political scene both nationally and internationally.
